As a you junior I wondered how my tennis rackets was made. Back then, (70’ies) they were made of wood. My childhood tennis club in Denmark (Ølstykke) had amazing courts in the middle of a small forrest. When biking through the country side to attend my many tennis lessons, i was childishly impressed that my rackets came from the threes and I remember fantasising that rackets grew up from the fields I passed.
